I am not currently taking on new General Practice patients at Health on Rusden.
Whilst I spend Monday and Thursday consulting at my rooms at Health on Rusden, as an independent practitioner I also perform other medical services for the Armidale community. I work at Armidale Rural Referral Hospital as a Visiting Medical Officer (VMO) both in the Emergency Department and by assisting the local palliative care team in Armidale Community Health. I also perform corticosteroid injections and fine needle aspirations at Armidale Ultrasound on a Friday morning.
I have admitting rights at both Armidale Private Hospital and Armidale Public Hospital. I attend nursing home residents at all three Residential Aged Care Facilities in Armidale, however I do not regularly perform home visits.
I also enjoying raising up the next generation of rural GPs through performing external clinical teaching visits through the RACGP across the New England, North West region and you will regularly see me teaching medical students both in General Practice and through my VMO work.
